World Impact Urban Church Planting Internships
March 22, 2009World Impact’s St. Louis Director Kelly Schjenken approached me this week about the organization’s internship program. We plan a follow-up discussion about mutual cooperation between World Impact and the EFCA in planting a church in urban St. Louis. March 22, 2009EFCA Direcor of Reconciliation Alvin Sanders is organizing “Samaritan Leadership Groups” to advance reconciliation as a mission among Evaneglical Free Churches. The groups will receive coaching, evaluate leadership resources, develop strategies, pray and build relationships that foster both racial and interpersonal reconciliation.

March 16, 2009Every other month, Evangelical Free Church Pastors have been meeting for lunch. We’ve decided that on three dates in 2009 we will change the format in two ways:
· Beginning March 19, 2009 from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm (with lunch), the EFCA Central District and member churches will sponsor a networking and equipping time at St. Paul’s Evangelical Free Church, 9801 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63141.
