World Impact’s St. Louis Director Kelly Schjenken approached me this week about the organization’s internship program.  We plan a follow-up discussion about mutual cooperation between World Impact and the EFCA in planting a church in urban St. Louis.  Internship terms are one year,  but summertime internships are also a possibility.  Read more in the attached document.

The inaugeral EFCA Ministry Community event was held March 19th and drew about 45 pastors, church planters, ministers, seminary students and friends of the EFCA for networking and equipping. Central District Director of Church Health spoke during morning and lunchtime sessions. Audio files of his messages will be available under the Podcast tab. Copies of his handouts are below:

EFCA Direcor of Reconciliation Alvin Sanders is organizing “Samaritan Leadership Groups” to advance reconciliation as a mission among Evaneglical Free Churches.  The groups will receive coaching, evaluate leadership resources, develop strategies, pray and build relationships that foster both racial and interpersonal reconciliation.
