One item of business at next week’s Central District Conference will be the admission of The Sanctuary Fellowship meeeting in Webster Groves as a full member church in the district. The Algoma EFC has 50 covered pews, in good condition, that they are looking to give away to a ministry or sell. The pews are about 4.5-5′ long (didn’t measure), with covered padding. They are movable and stackable.

The EFCA St. Louis/Eastern Missouri Ministry Community will take place on January 21st from 11:30 am-1:30 pm at St. Pauls EFC, 9801 Olive, St. Louis, MO  63141.  This will be a “working lunch” to facilitate a discussion of ways in which EFCA churches can work together to “multiply healthy churches among all people”.

The Central District is hosting a meeting of EFCA pastors in Arkansas on Wednesday January 20th from 10:00 am – 1:45 pm. The gathering will take place at Petit Jean State Park, 1285 Petit Jean Mountain Road – Morrilton, AR 72110 / Phone: (501) 727-5441.

We will gather in the Arkansas Room for a meeting, and then adjourn to the Mather Lodge for lunch. All EFCA pastors, missionaries and church planters in Arkansas are invited to attend. The Central District will be represented by your hosts, Dr. Cal Swan (District Superintendent) and Richard Schumacher (Associate Superintendent/Church Planting Missionary).

First Free of Warrensburg is offering about 65 charis to a needy church plant or congregation. The chairs are 20+ years old but still servicable according to the church. No picture of the actual chairs is available, but they are similar to this internet picture (except the metal is silver tone). Contact me if you are interested.

First Evangelical Free Church will sponsor a children’s ministry training event on October 18, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 pm.  The church is at 1375 Carman Road, Manchester, MO  63021.  An RSVP is required – please refer to the full brochure available at the link below.
